(BRIEF)
Environmentally focused, minimalistic design for independent infrastructure investment firm, Pioneer.
Pioneer invests in the energy transition and environment sectors across Europe. Sustainability is at the core of everything they do and at the heart of the design decisions for this fit-out. The brief was to create a functional space that represented the company’s core values both in the materials used and the final aesthetic.
(KEY FEATURES)
The space is smart, elegant and sleek with a balanced colour palette of neutral white and light grey tones, contrasted with the branding colours of teal, green and blue. Biophilia is placed throughout bringing texture and softening the space.
The choice of materials used in the key features are all environmentally driven, the design team selected only suppliers that we’re like-minded in this outlook, where possible, such as the carpet, which is 100% recycled from finishing nets, provided by Ege, to the worktops in the kitchen made out of recycled yoghurt pots, supplied by Polygood.

(OTHER ASPECTS)
Privacy and functionality were important aspects to the client. We used bespoke BOSS pods to create several sound-secure zones throughout the space.
The glass partitions used for the meeting rooms keeps the building’s natural light moving freely, cultivating a feeling of openness while still allowing for privacy and effective sound isolation.
(CONCLUSION)
The finished space is simplistic, elegant and unpretentious, while still delivering a sleek and modern feel. It embodies the client’s core values and manifests the functional design that they need.
